John Lewis are selling the Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump, with a Calma Teat for £29.96. You can have it delivered to you for an extra £3, or you can buy online and collect in store from either John Lewis or Waitrose.
I used a Medela Mini Electric for a long time with my first child, and thought it was an absolutely brilliant pump. In fact, I trialed a number of different pumps and it was my favourite. I never used this manual, but have heard good things about it and as a brand I think Medela are great.
The Medela Harmony Manual Breast Pump is ideal for mothers who only express milk occasionally and do not want to miss the usual feel of their baby. The research based breast pump technology mimics a baby's natural nursing rhythm.
The Medela Harmony comes with a Calma teat which is meant to be good for mimicking the flow of breastmilk - in other words milk doesn't just run out of it, but has to be sucked out - it actually causes the same jaw movement in the baby, I observed with mine! That's great for avoiding nipple confusion.
It's a good price for a great brand, and well worth it if you need to express from time to time.
