KFC launches a Stranger Things menu

Includes a Stranger Things Burger & Stranger Wings!

Stranger Things fans, you're in for a treat as KFC have just dropped a Stranger Things Burger and wings to coincide with the final season of the hit supernatural series on Netflix. But the items will only be around for a limited-time, and once the ‘flavour portal’ closes, they’ll be gone forever.

The fifth season will drop in three instalments - four episodes on November 26, a further three on December 25, and the closing episode on December 31.

First up, there’s a Stranger Things Burger (£7.99), with a ‘bold’ red bun that’s apparently ‘giving Vecna’.

The burger features a spicy Zinger chicken fillet, cheese, crunchy pickled slaw, burger dressing and a brand new Sweet & Spicy Secret Sauce. The whole thing is served in KFC’s first-ever red glazed bun, which is topped with black sesame seeds and the chain describes the burger as ‘saucy, juicy and unapologetically bold’.

People will have the choice to order the burger on its own, as a meal (£9.49) with regular signature fries and a drink, or as a box meal (£10.99) with fries, a choice of chicken, an extra side and a drink.

As well as this new Stranger Wings (£3.99) are going to be available, which are a three-piece and see classic chicken wings drenched in the new secret hot sauce that ‘delivers a supernatural kick enough to rift your taste buds wide open’.

A KFC spokesperson said: "Hawkins may be locked down but we're still selling Hawkins Fried Chicken. Try our limited edition Burger or Wings. The Stranger Things Burger - Spicy Zinger fillet drizzled in our new sweet and spicy Secret Sauce with cheese, pickled slaw and burger dressing all topped off with our limited-edition red glazed bun. Over and out!".

"The Stranger Things Burger and Stranger Wings at your local KFC for collection and delivery for a limited time only. Grab them before they go on the 4th of January!".
