I was chuffed to bits when I saw these toys in Home Bargains yesterday, and I had to grab a couple. They are selling Cookie Monster and Elmo Soft Toys for just £1.99 each, that's a massive £11 off! The next best price is Argos where they are on special offer at £6.29!
If you don't have a Home Bargains store near you then you can also buy them online as well, and even with the delivery charge added on these are still a brilliant bargain.
These are gorgeous soft cuddly toys that are around 10 inches tall, and they are perfect for little ones. My children know the characters because of the CBeebies programme The Furchester Hotel, but most parents will know them from their own childhood as well. (Definitely Cookie Monster anyway, I have no idea when Elmo came along.)
These aren't the Talking Elmo and Phoebefrom The Furchester, though they had those too for £6.99 each. The £1.99 toys don't do anything as such, but they are cute, cuddly and soft. They're also suitable from just 12 months of age so are great for younger fans of Elmo and Cookie Monster.
My youngest has been playing with them since we got them home (apart from a little turn on the toy cars) and I think they are a big hit. For £1.99 each you really can't go wrong though. The guy in the store was struggling to keep the display full as he was adding more while we were there, and the lady on the till said they had been selling like hot cakes, so I wouldn't think they will be around for long at that price. At the moment both are in stock online so grab them while you can!
