If you're a LEGO fan, there's savings to be had at Argos from today. It's one code, LEGO, entered at the checkout, and what you save depends on what you spend. Spend £50 and you save £10, spend £100 and you save £20, and spend £200 and you save £40. You're also getting triple Nectar points on top just now.
If there's a Pokémon fan in the house, the LEGO Pokémon SMART Play Training House with Pikachu* is £60, so the code takes it to £50 on its own. It's the new SMART Play range, where the bricks connect to an app, and this one builds a treehouse with a big Pikachu beside it.
For something a bit more grown up, the LEGO Star Wars Darth Vader Bust* is £55, which the code brings down to £45. It's a proper display piece rather than a toy, it comes with a stand and a nameplate, and the head turns.
And if you're going big, or even buying for Christmas, the LEGO Technic Mercedes-Benz G 500* is £220 and clears the top tier all on its own, so £40 comes off and you pay £180. That one's got a working engine, steering and gearbox inside it, and it's the set that'll keep somebody quiet for a weekend.
Two things worth knowing. New sets on pre-order are the exception and won't take the code, and the triple Nectar points run for a shorter spell than the money off does, so if the points matter to you don't leave it too long.
Click and collect is free, and you can pick up from an Argos store or a collection point in Sainsbury's within 7 days. If you'd rather have it delivered, standard delivery starts at £4.95, and it's free once you spend over £100.
