This LEGO Creator 3in1 Retro Gaming Console is a lovely little gift for any gamer, and it's down to £11.02 at Amazon when you tick the money-off voucher, from an RRP of £17.99.
The clever bit is the 3in1 build. You make the handheld retro console first, then take it apart and rebuild it into a mini computer with a keyboard and mouse, or a little arcade machine (one at a time, mind). The console has moving joysticks and buttons and a few swappable game cartridges to slot in.
It's 268 pieces and aimed at 8 and up, and it's the sort of set that doubles as a bit of gaming-room decor once it's built, so it can sit on a shelf between builds. A nice one for a birthday, and for nostalgic grown-ups too.
