These air popcorn makers are great for healthy snacks as you can pop kernels without using any oil whatsoever. It's really easy to use - you just the measuring scoop that's in the lid to measure out your kernels, pop them in the machine, replace the lid, hit the switch and the hot air will circulate and pop your corn for you.
I have a very similar one at home that I bought a couple of weeks ago and I have to say that it's been a big hit. The kids love having popcorn as a treat, and it's such a cheap snack too, as the kernels can be bought so cheaply from supermarkets. We got this* packet from Asda for £1.25 and it's enough to make 10 bowls of popcorn, though they do have this* one even cheaper at just 89p - you can't argue with less than 9p for a big bowl of popcorn can you? The machine has paid for itself already in this house!
I know you can just use a saucepan and oil rather than a machine like this, but I managed to burn and ruin a saucepan when I tried (I'm such a disaster in the kitchen) plus this is healthier without the oil too.
