FREE: B&Q Kids DIY Classes

Free Kids B&Q ClassesIf you're looking for something creative and productive for your 7 - 11 year old to do this summer, why not send them off on one or more of the B&Q Kids Can Do It classes?

These classes help children learn basic DIY skills through small projects such as building bird feeders and making picture frames. They usually cost £5 a session, but members of the free B&Q Clubget them free.

To become a member, simply click here to register online (you'll be sent a confirmation email with your membership code in). If you're already a member, you don't have to re-register.

Classes over the summer are:

  • Saturday 26th & Sunday 27th July Wheelbarrow Planter
  • Saturday 2nd & Sunday 3rd August Wooden Boat
  • Saturday 9th & Sunday 10th August Bee Café
  • Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th August Bug House
  • Saturday 23rd & Sunday 24th August Magazine Storage Box

To book your class, click here. Click on Book, find your local store and complete your booking

It says the classes cost £5, but telephone 0845 600 5428 and quote the store, class and your B&Q membership number and it's free.

    I think this is a fantastic idea. Showing kids basic DIY skills while letting them build something they can keep. Gutted that my nearest one is nearly 30 miles away :( Will need to hope they do it again at a closer store or try and build something with my wee boy myself
