The unit is white with a 3,5 litre capacity and a toughened glass lid. The crock pot is removable and the unit offers a keep warm function along with auto shut off and three different temperature settings.

You can put certain bits into the dishwasher without batting an eyelid which is fabulous. If you haven’t done slow cooking before, spend some time lurking on the internet as there are some divine recipes on there. You don’t need super fancy ingredients either, often you can throw together a good meal with things you have in your kitchen already.

I recently bought my husband one of these and the meals we’ve had have been nothing short of delicious – lamb falling off the bone, succulent chicken and beef. Oh I am drooling just thinking about it.
