I’ve been thinking about potty training my daughter for months now, but unfortunately, she’s not given it a thought. I was really hoping to have a bit of nappy free time before the next little one comes along, but now I’m not so sure that’ll happen – perhaps, but I’m not overly confident.

While my daughter was doing really well on her BecoPotty, we forgot it when we came back from our holiday in the sun in April, and we’ve not bothered since – although the BecoStep is a great tool for progressing from potty to toilet.

If you’d like to read full reviews,  you can read about both the BecoPotty and BecoStep on Playpennies.

In short, however, BecoThings are made using natural plant materials, so they’re BPA and nasties-free. It also means that even though it will last for years in the home, it will begin to break down as soon as it is planted in the ground.

So, whereas the BecoPotty would normally cost £9.43 plus £3.50 shipping (it’s a rather bulky item), it’s now £9.89 – basically giving you £3.04 off. And £9.43 is still among the cheapest prices you’ll pay for a good quality potty!

The BecoStep is £16.99, tax inclusive, plus £3.50 shipping, and with 20% off you save £3.00 with a final price of £15.49 – again, cheaper than a well-known plastic alternative. Of course, it’s not the cheapest one on the market, but if you don’t want a house full of plastic, these are fabulous.
