The consoles comes in a black and blue colour and Mario Kart 7 is pre-installed on the console, so there's no separate game cartridge. They come with rechargeable batteries installed, and a charger so you can top it up.
The Nintendo DS is compatible with games for the DS and also 3DS, though it will only play those in 2D mode, but that's great for younger children as the 3D is not recommended for younger players.
My son has this console and it's been great as with the size it's very handy for taking out and about, on holidays, and visiting friends and family. There's a really big choice of games for this console too, and they are very cheap too, so it's easy to grab new games for it without spending a small fortune.
