Morrison's New Loyalty Card & Price Match Promise

Morrison's New Loyalty Card & Price Match Promise

Match & More MorrisonsIt's finally happened! Morrison's is getting a new loyalty card! I love Morrison's and have only ever had good experiences in their stores, but it's always bothered me that I'm not collecting points while shopping - I save my points and pretty much buy my Christmas dinner on points every year... feels like a Christmas present to me! Well, now they've gone and done it, and outdone it too: Not only are Morrison's introducing a new loyalty card but they're also throwing a price match promise in there too.

In addition, when you register your card online, you'll get a free £5 voucher to spend on your next shopping trip when you collect 5,000 points.

When does the loyalty card come into effect?

Well, that seems to depend on your local store. Some people have received their cards already, others will start this coming Monday or later. It really just depends on your store, and when they're set up with it.

You can pick up a card in store, but you'll have to register it online. You can also just register online now.

What's this about a price match?

Most stores offer a price match, where you get the difference back if your purchase on the day would have been cheaper elsewhere. The amazing thing with Morrison's price match though, is that they are also matching Aldi & Lidl, which no one else does, and which makes for fantastic savings potential for customers.

And on top of that, it's not just on branded items, but on your whole shop.

What's the "& More" they advertise?

Bonus Match & More points are available on in store and online.  You also get Bonus Match & More points every time you fill up with fuel at a Morrisons petrol station with 1 litre of fuel equaling 10 More points.

How does this translate in cash?

Well, aside from the free £5 for registering, you get £5 for every 5000 points collected.

If you've never tried the Morrison's fish counter, that alone is worth driving past other supermarkets to get to. And now with the loyalty scheme? Well it's a win-win for me!

I am pretty sure it isn't £5 free JUST for registering, it's a £5 Morrisons voucher once you have collected 5k points and you have to register online before they will send the voucher

a misleading statement from morrisons ....designed to make you believe that you will get a £5.00 bonus added to your account just for registering for the bonus card. pretty much on par for all the leading supermarkets who bounce their prices all over the place to make shoppers believe they are saving money well i have news for you .....the british public are fully aware of your tactics.....if you have any doubt just look at your recent sales figures and share prices.....time to clean up your act....or go out of business

It look like Morrison's have changed the wording on their website. When we looked at it last night, it definitely read that you get a 'sign up' bonus - but today it doesn't read like that anymore. Quite a pity, we think!

What a con the most important issue with this promotion of the Match & More is hidden in very ery small print and it refers that one MUST spend £15 to qualify for a price match. This is not mentioned when signing up and when spoken to at there HQ they said that there was no room .That's a load of rubbish , there's plenty of room Come clean up front Morrison 85% of the people will not be able to read your small print.

Beware its hard to have any price match if you have bought offers at Morrison for example I bought 4 boxes Cadburys at £7 for 2 a saving of £2 over other Competitors also Budweiser at £14 but it was £13 at Asda's I was not entitled to the £1 price match in points . When I queried it with the Manager he did not know why so again rang HQ to be told that it is in their conditions . Match and More lures one in to the store and the end result is they apply their conditions to a whole shop and you might get nothing as I did. When you go to pay I recommend you split the shopping into Morison's offers and Competitors offers (over £15 packages) to gain any points

How misleading I purchased 4 tins of their £7 for two offer Cadbury's sweats and Budweiser larger cans at£14 but the larger was on offer at Asda for £13 Morrison did not give the £1 points as promised with their Match & More They (HQ) ( as the store Manager did not know) said your basket with their offer on tins of sweets cancelled out the difference of Asda's What a con One might as well shop in Asda OR split your trolley and pay separately the Morrison's offers and the Competitors offers Make sure that you have spent £15 to qualify for points back. Non of this is explained or highlighted in readable large print in store when signing up--

We went shopping (with my card in hand for points purpose) spent over £60... no £5 voucher... Points will be credited within 72 hours i find out.... excellent...... its now Weds 4th March a good 90 hours plus since my spend and..... nothing. I am now thinking this is a complete con

nothing. I am now thinking this is a complete con
