Easy Halloween Makeup Looks

Easy Halloween Makeup Looks

Halloween is bigger than ever in the UK and whilst there are a million and one Vloggers showing us their mastery in SFX makeup, not all of us can get it right. Sometimes less is more, start easy and add in your own little touches where your ability allows.

Here are some real easy Halloween Makeup looks for you to try...

Skeleton/Skull

This is where contouring comes in handy, but forget the never-ending buffing and blending!

Simply make your face as pale or pure white as you can. Grab a dark grey or black eyeshadow and go in at the hollows of your cheeks, around your hairline, jawline and down the bridge and tip of your nose. Grab a black eyeliner and draw on lines for the mouth.

Cat

Grab a Black Gel Liner (or Face Paint) and a fine brush. Paint on a triangle on the tip of your nose and a line going down to your bottom lip. Cover the top lip in black too, making sure to upturn the edges of your mouth.

Do some dots and lines for whiskers between your mouth and nose. For the eyes, go for a smokey feline look by winging out both your shadow and eyeliner. A liquid eyeliner is best for this.

Witch

Grab a sponge and some green loose eyeshadow. Dab your whole face until you are satisfied. You can be a pretty witch and apply a lick of black lipgloss, fake lashes and cat-flick of liquid eyeliner OR rub some of that eyeshadow on rice crispies and use lash adhesive to glue on these make-shift warts.

Ghost

The easiest one to do.... grab a sponge and some white makeup or face paint. Then just blacken out your eyes. Yes, it's really that simple. Experiment, until you get the right look for you.

Spider Webs

If you are not wanting to go all out scary on a Halloween night out or at work then this look is the one for you. Do your makeup as you normally would and add in some spider webs on your forehead or what looks really effective is doing it on your eyelids.

Simply use a black liquid eyeliner and draw a plus sign then a cross on top. Go over this with a sliver glitter liner for added effect, then connect the lines with horizontal lines to complete the web.
