If you have a young Thomas fan in your family and are after a ready bed, look no further than Amazon at this Thomas and Friends My First Ready Bed - they're currently selling them for £24.99 rather than £36.99 (according to the Amazon full rrp).
I've written about ready beds plenty of times and this is a pretty good price for them - I'd put money on them either going out of stock fairly quickly OR Amazon doing their usual putting-up-and-down-the-price thing, so I'd order one sooner rather than later if you think you might want one.
These little beds are great to keep at grandparents' houses, or wherever, for overnight stays when your child is too big for a travel cot - they're also great for camping with little ones too! It has a large comfy sleeping bag, pillow and inflatable air-mattress all rolled in to one.
This Thomas and Friends My First Ready Bed also has a wrap around bed head (think inflatable headboard that wraps around the sides) which features Thomas and Friends story scene. The cover is polyester, the filling - polyfibre, and it comes with its own pump and carry bag too.
Character beds and bedding are a great way of encouraging your little night owl into bed and, from all previous comments I've ever read about ready beds - you might just want to have an extra blanket on stand-by for when the nights get really chilly.
