I sew on labels on all Daniel's school stuff. Or at least the stuff that's expensive to replace like his blazer, jumper and school coat. What is interesting is that in his time at school, so far (fingers crossed) we're the only ones not to have lost something permanently or had it stolen. I wouldn't have thought it would be more of a deterrent than using fabric pen to write a name in there, as you could just snip it out. But it seems to have been!
