How sweet is this nightwear set? And it's on sale. Debenhams has reduced this White Peppa Pig three piece pyjama set from £25 to £12.50 for the toddler sizes 12-18 months and 18-24 months. It is also available for £13 in the 2-3 years size.
What caught my eye about this deal is that you get PJs and a robe included. It looks really lovely, and would make a great gift set too. I've always liked the quality of the clothes I've bought from Debenhams, and the materials that they use.
Another thing that caught my eye about these PJs are that the trousers look like they come in at the bottom. The edging looks a bit elasticated. This is something I'm only used to seeing on PJs from the US - these always come in at the ankles and at the wrists too. It makes sense to me as it helps retain the warm air and keeps out draughts. I've never understood why PJs in the UK are always open at the wrists and ankles.
Also there's another advantage to this that I've found. You can buy PJs that are WAY too big but they can still wear them as the elasticated bottoms and wrists on the top keep them up. My son has two pairs of PJs from the US, one a Buzz Lightyear outfit and the other is a Woody, for children aged seven that he's able to wear now (he's a small size 5 year old) for that reason.
