Matching family Christmas pyjamas are one of those things I fall for every single year, so when I spotted that Next have put Hamish the Highland Cow on a set for this one, that was me sold. The kids' pyjamas start at £13 (they run £13 to £21 depending on age, covering 9 months right up to 16 years), and there are grown-up versions too, at £26, so the whole family can match if that's your idea of a good time — it's definitely mine.
They're done in a soft oatmeal shade with Hamish himself on the front, and it's a proper cosy set — a long-sleeved top with long-legged joggers rather than shorts, which is what I want for those chilly mornings on the stairs. The fabric's a brushed 95% recycled polyester with a bit of stretch in it, so they should be lovely and snug, and they're machine washable, which is the first thing I check with anything the kids will be living in over the holidays.
What I really like is that it's a full matching range — as well as all the kids' sizes there's a women's set, a men's set and a cosy nightie, so if you're the sort of household that goes all-in on the co-ordinated Christmas photo, this one's got you completely covered.
