I love these 'Decorate Your Own' felt kits for the kids, and we have some we bring out year after year. Hobbycraft have two to choose from this time; a Decorate Your Own Felt Christmas Tree and a Decorate Your Own Snowman kit. Both are priced at only £6 each, so they're a bit of a bargain.
The Christmas tree includees a large green felt background, plus lots of felt shapes to decorate them. Kids can then move the pieces and rearrange the felt baubles, bows, candy canes and more as many times as they like.
The Snowman version has a white felt snowman shape with its red hat already on, along with an assortment of felt shapes that are ready to be attached. Each of the pieces has a hook-and-loop backing to ensure it's easy to fix each piece in place.
These are available both online and in stores, though they do tend to sell out pretty quickly each year.
