We hear about how harmful plastic is to our planet, and people talk about straws, plastic packaging, but what about balloons? Most are used once, and then discarded. I have discovered REUSABLE balloons on Amazon, Etsy and eBay. Whilst they are still made of the usual materials, the fact you can use them for multiple events is a massive step in the right direction.
How do reusable balloons* work? They are normally a better quality balloon, that can handle being stretched multiple times. You still blow them up with air or helium.
You'll struggle to blow them up yourself due to the stiffness of the balloon wall, but a balloon pump will do the trick.
You can then use clips, or if you're not wanting plastic, use twine, or another natural string to tightly secure the balloon shut.
If you'd rather go with something more eco-friendly, then you can buy Biodegradable Latex Balloons here.
