This has to be one of the worst time of years for the kids to need shoes. Everyone is skint, right? Get over to Argos where they have reduced two very fun pair of shoes. The Disney Cars Trainers were £12.99 and are now £6.49, the JCB Boots were £14.99, now just £8.66.

The Disney Cars Trainers come in sizes 9 through to 12 and the JCB Boots ones come in size 6 through to 12.

Both pairs have a chunky rubber sole which should be sturdy and non-slip. It's a velcro fastening to both the Trainers and the Boots, so they are easy to put on and off.

They both are rated very highly which would suggest to me that they are a bargain.
