Celebaby: There's A New Royal Baby...
Uh-oh, brace yourself Celebaby fans - it’s time for Royal womb-watch all over again! The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant with her second child.
Yup, Kate and Wills are expecting another baby. And - God love the poor woman - Kate is once again being treated for Hyperemesis Gravidarum - otherwise known as acute morning sickness.
In a statement, Kensington Palace explained that Her Royal Highness will no longer accompany The Duke of Cambridge on their planned engagement in Oxford today, since the Duchess is being treated by doctors at Kensington Palace.
If you’ve ever had the misfortune of suffering from HG you’ll appreciate that I am typing this with a basin beside my laptop. That’s no joke. Merely the mention of the letters ‘H’ and ‘G’ together are enough to make us hardcore baby barfers feel distinctly green around the gills. Urgh.
Here’s what the Daily Mail are saying:
“The Duchess of Cambridge is pregnant again, Kensington Palace announced today. Kate, 32, mother to Prince George, one, will be expecting her second child next year. The couple have long spoken of their desire to extend their family and the timing of the announcement is significant. William, 32, recently announced his decision to put off becoming a full time working royal in favour of taking a new role as an East Anglian air ambulance pilot. The new role will allow the couple to bring up their family in the relative privacy of their new home in Norfolk.”
On that note, I think I need a lie down.
