Breastfeeding Mum: Stranger Offered To Help Cut My Breakkie

Oh, I do love a heartwarming story about the lengths strangers go to in order to offer support and understanding to new mums. But this is the best I've heard in ages.

The Daily Mail reports:

Briar Lusia Mcqueen from New Zealand's Mount Maunganui was breastfeeding her eight-week-old son, her breakfast left sitting in front of her, when she was approached by an older lady. But rather that tell her to cover up, the woman sat down and started cutting up Ms Mcqueen's food so she could eat it before it went cold.

The new mum wrote on her Facebook profile:

"Just wanted to share this really sweet moment I had this morning. Today was the first time I went out for breakfast alone with my 8 week old son, I had just received my breakfast and hot chocolate when Jaxon started crying wanting his booby so of course I fed him, after a few minutes this older lady walked up to me, I was scared, thinking she was gonna tell me to put my boob away, instead she starts cutting up my breakfast for me and said "what a good mama you are, we can't have your food getting cold can we". I honestly could have cried - loveliest lady EVER!! #LoveWhatMatters"

Brilliant, eh?

So tell us, what's the best thing a stranger's ever done for you when you've been juggling life and a baby?
