Celebaby: New Mum Thandie Newton Wishes You A Happy Easter
British actress Thandie Newton has taken to her Twitter account to share a snap of her new baby boy, and to wish her followers well for the Easter weekend.
The actress and mother of two wrote simply:
Thandie is married to English writer, director, and producer Ol Parker, and the couple also have two daughters: Ripley and Nico.
On Thandie's latest addition, the Daily Mail reports:
"Shortly after welcoming her third child Thandie shared her delight on Twitter with the message: ‘Our baby boy is finally here! Booker Jombe Parker. Born joyously at home yesterday.’"
"She later tweeted that she had given birth at home, writing: 'My 3rd home birth with brilliant independent midwife Caroline Flint - and Carole Goddard @PhoenixMidwives. Keep independent midwifery alive!'"
It seems home-birthing is all the rage with celeb mums. Model Gisele Bundchen famously gave birth to both her children at home in the bath, and actress Jennifer Connelly welcomed her third baby (and first daughter, Agnes) at home in her New York apartment. Demi Moore and Pamela Anderson are also famous advocates of home births.
Are any of our Playpennies mummies home-birthers?
Congrats, Thandie and Ol!
