Doctor Who DVDs are usually very expensive so it’s nice to see some deals on these sneaking in here and there. Base has dropped the price on the Doctor Who Revisitation box set from £39.99 to only £12.59 and it comes with free UK delivery too.
Doctor Who Revisitations 1 is a seven disc box set that has updated and remastered versions of three previous Doctor Who releases. The Talons of Weng-Chiang, The Caves of Androzani and Doctor Who – The Television Movie. There are also three discs that consist purely of special features.
You get commentaries from the cast and crew, the making of, original storyboards, photo galleries, coming soon trailers, PDFs (yeah, I also think that is odd), Radio Times listings (also weird) and more. The DVDs have been digitally remastered to deliver superior sound and Doctor Who awesomeness.
So, if you happen to be a huge fan of Doctor Who and would like to get your collection up to speed, then this deal should make you very happy.
