What is an Amazon Echo Input?
The Amazon Echo Input adds Alexa to your own external speaker and connects via a 3.5 mm audio cable or via Bluetooth.
It features four microphones, so that the Echo Input can hear your "Alexa commands" from across the room, even if it has music playing.
This means you can ask it to play you a song, put on the radio, check the news, traffic, weather and much, much more, but with the sound through your own speaker.
What colours does the Amazon Echo Input come in?
The Amazon Echo Input comes in a choice of two colours: black and white. We predict to see other colours added to the range shortly.
Can I call via Alexa with the Amazon Echo Input?
At present, you cannot make calls through the Amazon Echo Input, like you can on the other Echo devices.
