Whatever your views on breastfeeding selfies, Tamara Ecclestone has reset the bar. She posted the snap above on Instagram, showing her breastfeeding her one-year-old daughter, Sophia.
She added the caption:
"All that swimming is thirsty work."
I realise that breastfeeding selfies tend to stir up quite a debate, with some bottle-feeding mums saying they make them feel inadequate, and others arguing that a brelfie is an important part of breaking the taboo that still exists around mothers breastfeeding babies in public.
On a personal note, I've never felt the urge to share snaps of me breastfeeding my babies with the world. But I think there's something really arresting about this image, and I can see how it might help other mums feel better about the notion of breastfeeding in public.
Then again, since few of us look like this when we're feeding hungry babies, maybe it's not really breaking down any taboos but rather reinforcing the gulf that exists between celebrity mums and the rest of us.
One final thought: I wonder what that lady in the background is thinking?
What do YOU think of Tamara's brelfie? Do you have an opinion on the subject in general? If so, we'd love to hear your comments over on our Facebook page.
