Atomic Kitten star Natasha Hamilton has spoken to the Daily Mail about her decision to 'eat' her baby's placenta.

Already mum to three sons from her marriage to Riad Erraji, Natasha and partner Ritchie Neville, of boy band 5ive fame, welcomed their first child together - and Natasha's first daughter - in September.

Their little girl is named Ella Rose.

The paper reports:

"Speaking exclusively to MailOnline as part of her work with online market place Rakuten on Thursday, Natasha said: ‘If it was me chopping up my placenta and eating it, I would be violently ill. But I had it made into pills, it cost me £175 and it's best money I ever spent."

Natasha also commented that she had planned to take a breastfeeding supplement anyway but decided to opt for the 'natural' properties of placenta pills.

She also commented that she has been feeling "fantastic" and said that breast feeding has "never been easier", prompting her to add that she thinks the placenta pills are working.

So...would you?!
