Mars Recall Galaxy Cookie Crumble

Galaxy Cookie Crumble chocolate bars have been recalled by Mars Chocolate UK because they may contain plastic.

The Independent newspaper reports:

"Mars Chocolate UK, the firm which manufactures the chocolate bars, is recalling Galaxy Cookie Crumble bars weighing 114g which are marked with the ‘best before’ end date of 16 August 2015. The packets feature the batch codes PB21, PB22 and PB23, and may contain a small piece of white plastic."

A spokesperson for Mars UK said: “Mars takes quality and food safety seriously and we apologise for any inconvenience caused to our consumers”.

No other chocolate bars are thought to be affected.
