A Promise for Zach

Don't read this if you don't want to end up sobbing. Actually, forget that. Read this, sob anyway, and then donate some cash.

According to the Telegraph, the parents of a terminally ill boy, who is just 20 months old, have created a 'bucket list' of 16 things for their son to experience before he dies.

The paper reports:

Zach Parnaby, aged 20 months, appeared to have been born a healthy baby, but was diagnosed with the illness that had been unwittingly carried by his parents just after Christmas.

Now the medical condition known as Krabbe Luekodystrophy, a terminal disease which affects one in 100,000 people, will cause Zach to gradually lose the ability to walk, talk, see or hear. His doctors say he might not live beyond his fourth birthday.

On Zach's bucket list are: swim in the sea, ride a bike and meet Mickey Mouse. Top of the list?  Find a cure for Krabbes disease.

Zach's parents, Lindsey and Ben, have set up a Go Fund Me page in their son's name to help finance his bucket list.

What else is there to say except, if you wish, you can lend your support here.
