I tested it out on a pair of Carissa sandals. These had been reduced from £55 to £28. The code took another £5.60 off, reducing the price overall to £22.40 including delivery.
That's not a bad saving overall, but you are going to have to be prepared to do a bit of hunting about on the site. It took me a while to find a pair of sandals that I liked, and that hadn't sold out. But it is worth it when you can get something for less than half price.
