This last one exludes mobile phones, games, DVDs, CDs and consoles however.
Personally I'm not ever going to buy a book from WH Smiths, not when it is so much cheaper to buy them online or from a discount book store. And actually, most of my books these days come from charity stores and the second hand book stall run at my son's primary school every parent evening! But for getting stationery for back to school, especially for secondary school, it is a handy place to shop. So that alone makes this a nice little saving.
