Vtech Vsmile Pocket Learning System is on sale at Argos for £19.99, which is a great saving on the usual £59.99 – and apparently if you buy one Vmotion game, you get a second half-price.
This learning system includes Zayzoo software that teaches word matching, spelling, maths, puzzles and so on, thereby turning play time into learning time. It is compatible with all Vsmile games, with the exception of the Art Studio, Dance 'n' Learn and Pocket Power Packs.
These have been dubbed “life-savers” for long trips, doctor's office visits and so on. The only downsides are that the screen scratches rather easily, so perhaps buying a case of some sort isn't a bad idea either. On the other hand, a few
reviewers complained that they are prone to being faulty, so hang on to your receipt in case you have to return it.
To keep this baby running, you'll need 4xAA batteries, which aren't included.
