Argos are selling the VTech Crawl and Learn Bright Lights Ball for £8.99, a £7 saving on the £15.99 RRP.
Apparently this contraption will help encourage crawling as it rolls away from your baby and they try to chase after it. It is a magically moving ball with a built-in motor which helps it move about. There are chunky light-up buttons and a turning ladybird which help teach animal names, numbers and colours.
According to the ‘learning aims’ of the toy, it helps support brain power, senses, hand to eye co-ordination and physical development. And in there somewhere, it’s a bit of fun too and something to keep little ones occupied and stimulated.
It requires 3 AA batteries, which are included and is suitable for babies six months and over.
There are plenty reviews on this VTech Crawl and Learn Bright Lights Ball on the Argos site and overall they are really good. In fact it has a star rating of 4.6 out of 5 from reviewers, which is pretty good. The only real ‘negative’ about it is that it doesn’t move very fast – which when you consider that it’s made for 6 month olds who are learning to crawl, is no surprise.
