Have you seen one of these slides before? The first time I clapped eyes on one, I thought what on earth is the point of that? It just didn’t look like it was anything more than a bit of a novelty slide and hardly functional at all. And yet, my son and his friend spent two hours non-stop playing on it! The Toy Monster Roller Coaster Slide is more ‘low slung’ than normal slides. Instead of a smooth surface, the slide is made up of tubes. The Toy Monster Roller Coaster Slide is on sale at Tesco Direct for £50, although using the voucher code TD-P47F you can get a further £10 off. It normally retails at £125.
Delivery is free if you can arrange for it to be collected in-store. If there isn’t a store near you offering this service (and although I live in London, I’m in an unlucky blackspot, with none of the stores in a 10 mile radius offering collection services) then there’s a £5 delivery charge.
The slide is made up of 70% steel and 30% plastic, and is recommended for ages three plus or a maximum weight of 200kg. It stretches out to 235cm and has a height of 91cm. The Monster Roller Coaster Slide slide has 2m of rolling tubes, each with its own roller mechanism.
