*singing* "Timmy...it's TIMMY...he's a little lamb with a lot to learn...BAAAAA!!!!" I'm not sure who enjoys watching Timmy Time more in my house me, my youngest (3 and a half) or the big kids (14 and 15) but if you haven't watched Timmy Time on Cbeebies then you haven't lived!
Timmy is 'Shaun the Sheep's cousin from Wallace and Grommit fame and has just started nursery. My little boy loves that he does all the same things at nursery with his friends that Timmy does with his - painting, playing games, drawing and creating new things, he also likes to make comparisons between Harriet Heron and Osbourne Owl and his own pre-school teachers...Alison was 'thrilled' to discover she was Osbourne!
After a hard day's play at nursery, Timmy's tired! Cuddling his favourite teddy bear, when he lays down his eyes close and he starts to snore; press his hand and hear him baaa! Don't dismiss or underestimate the influence of characters like Timmy, this 'Night Night Timmy' could well prove to be a powerful ally during 'I don't want to go to sleep!' battles. "Ahhh, look Timmy's tired and is going to sleep now...why don't you see if you can be like Timmy too..." it often works like a charm!
Timmy is suitable from age 2 onwards, includes 3 x LR44 batteries and qualifies for Amazon's great Super Saver free delivery deal too - can't be baaaaaad! (I make no apologies for that one it was just too good to resist!)
