We've blogged about the Little Tikes Large Car Carrier before - we're huge fans of it in our house, and it's one of the very few items that still gets played with a good five or six years after we first bought it. And it still looks like new. Right now at Toys R Us you can pick one up for £24.99 - that's half price in their Half Term ½ Price Sale - and while it's not the cheapest we've ever seen it, it's still a pretty decent saving.
This is a practically indestructible toy - my kids regularly sat on ours and even rode it around the garden and it's still going strong. It's the kind of toy that's great for playing with when friends come over too, as it comes with two cars which makes it ideal for sharing, and it's big enough for more than one kid to get to grips with it at the same time.
It would make a pretty impressive Christmas present I think - it's bigger than I imagined it would be, and also kept my kids entertained outside for ages in the summer too - great fun if you have a sandpit!
