There’s 27% off the Moshi Monsters Moshling Treehouse Playset at Amazon at the moment, reducing them to £14.50.
The reviews on this one are pretty mixed on Amazon – some loved it and some weren’t too impressed, but even when parents weren’t, the kids generally still loved it.
The greatest criticism of this set is that there’s only one Moshling figurine – an exclusive Roxy moshling - included, despite the full house in the pictures. This was disappointing to those who didn’t have a whole collection already.
The Moshling Treehouse opens up to reveal a spacious interior and as well as storing Moshlings, it’s a great place to play. The set includes a basket lift for the moshlings to play on, although one parent that it makes a bit of an annoying grinding sound.
There’s also a debate on quality – one reviewer says it’s not very robust and another was pleasantly surprised by the quality. The moshlings, once you’ve added your own, also fall out the tree quite easily, but that’s part of the game, I guess.
A four star reviewers said of his son, “I've heard him making up stories about the moshlings visiting each other, and am really impressed by the way it has enhanced his play with the figures.”
