I wish I had a little girl in my life to shower with these toys, I love the wide-eyed little animals that much. Unfortunately my son has no interest, my step-daughter and all my nieces are far too old. My youngest sister was inconsiderate enough to have two boys, neither of who will even look at anything remotely girly.
However I do tend to give the play sets as presents. Partly because they're so sweet, and partly because they're very nearly always in those regular 75% off sales that Sainsbury's does frequently on its toys. Some of these pet packs would make a great addition. I'm also wondering if it would be possible to break one up and put the individual toys into gift bags.
You get either two pets, or one pet and one pet accessory, in a pack. As far as I can tell from the website, there's no way to specify which pets you get. There are special, rare edition pets, which you may possibly get too.
