The LeapFrog LeapBand Activity Tracker is an interactve toy with a difference. It was launched in May this year and I have to say I like the idea of it. Kids wear it like a watch and there's eight pet characters to choose from, that your kids can play over fifty games with.
Each game has an activity theme, like dancing or jumping. Not only does it encourage movement through games but it also monitors it too.
I have read that toys like this could attribute towards children becoming paranoid about their weight etc, but I don't buy that. I think a toy like this would compliment the healthy eating/living curriculum in schools.
