This is a toy I can seriously vouch for - my middle child went Batman crazy a few years ago, and consequently our house could easily pass for a Batman-memorabilia museum. But the best Batman toys by far are the Imaginext ones, in my opinion. They're robust and built to last, and yet they're kind of intuitively designed for kids to be able to really let their imaginations run wild while they play - there are loads of fiddly features for interacting with.
With the Batcave you can fire the cannon, ride the Batcycle, reveal secret panels and open the front door. I also love that there are enough toys in the Imaginext ange to enable you to build up quite a collection - which is really handy when relatives ask for ideas for Christmas or birthday presents.
