ELC HappyLand Dragon Castle £13.50 @ Debenhams

ELC HappyLand Dragon Castle £13.50 @ Debenhams

dragon castleI can't believe they've dropped the price on this castle even more. It had been reduced to £18 just before Christmas (we reported it here) and now here it is at £13.50. The original price for this on the website was £45. And even on eBay I couldn't find it for less than £39. Plus, standard delivery of four days is free.

I've no idea why the price on this keeps getting reduced. It looks like a good toy, and it has fabulous reviews on the website. It is from the ELC range, and I've had nothing but good experiences with their toys. If it is still available at this price next week when I get paid I'm buying one for the present drawer.

As we reported last time, there's very little information on the website. It just says "Fun castle with characters and extra pieces for your child to enjoy. Ages 18 months - 4 years old."

There are now 10 customer reviews on the website, and they all give it a four or five star rating. This review pretty much sums up what seems to be the consensus: "It is a lovely present, its's bigger than it looks and the characters and their little faces are gorgeous. The catapult really works in the castle set and it's very hard wearing and durable."

Noooo less than an hour! I only researched and wrote up that at about 11:30am, published by 12. And by 12:37, all gone. Yeah you're right not surprising at that price. I wish there was a way to see just how many they have left in stock, as they do on other websites. And if there is some blatantly obvious way to do this on the Debenhams website that I'm missing let me know!

There is a way to check stock. Add say 30 to your basket. Then add or subtract until it comes up with a message along the lines of "sorry, there's not not enough to fulfill your order because we only have x amount in stock" Btw, I am sure these are still available for £13.50 instore.

LOL OK I meant an 'easy' way to check :)Yeah you're right I should have tried that especially with a deal as HOT as this one. Twenty twenty hindsight and all. Will definitely do that next time. Just as well we have such competent and diligent readers on PlayPennies to keep us on our toes!
