How fantastic does this look? I know train sets are supposed to be "for boys" but I don't care about that nonsense, I love this and I know my kids would too. The train set itself, as well as all the accessories are made of wood, and you get a really good selection of track pieces, trains, vehicles, buildings, trees and more. The table has a picture of a town on it, so that there's a background to build a track on, and it an be taken apart and rebuilt over and over again.
My boys have a similar much smaller set that I bought for my eldest. I have recently got it down from storage for the toddler, and it's provided hours of entertainment for them both already. I'm really glad that they both like it, as I'd much rather they spent time working out planning their tracks and racing the trains than watching TV. It's one of the few toys that my nearly 2 year old and nearly 6 year old can play on together. I don't think we're the only fans, as the reviews are pretty amazing as well.
