Kids parties can be an expensive affair, and one of the ways to make things cheaper is to grab things when you see them on offer and stash them away until Birthday time. Right now Argos have halved the price of four of their big party favour packs down from £11.99 to £5.99, so this looks like a good time to get some!
These are great value as there are 48 favours in each pack (40 if you get the Sofia one). So for about 12p a piece you can get Thomas, Minnie Mouse or Mickey Mouse assorted goodies for party bags. The Sofia ones work out at nearer to 15p each, but I think that's still a really good price.

There are different items in each character pack, but you get things like packs of crayons, notepads, stickers, spinning toys, jewellery and lots of little toys that kids love.
Stock seems fairly widely available, and as always the Reserve and Collect service is free.
