Celebaby: Light And Fluffy

by Sarah Macdonald in Celebaby on 2 February, 2012 at 10:00 am

Celebaby: Light And FluffyI'm tired of all the bitching, complaining, backstabbing and general 'bleurgh' that's going on - Peter and Katie are at it again (arguing and being 'mean' to each other in public, rather than 'at it'), Halle Berry and her ex, Gabriel Aubry, have been digging at each other and throwing legal action around for at least the last 18 months; so much so, in fact, that a judge has ordered them to take parenting classes for the sake of their daughter Nahla!

So today's Celebaby is nice and light and fluffy - because that's how I like things.

Celebaby: Where Her Parents Go, Willow Goes Too.

by Sarah Macdonald in Celebaby on 23 June, 2011 at 10:00 am

Celebaby: Where Her Parents Go, Willow Goes Too.Young Willow Sage is only two weeks old but her parents, Pink and her husband, Carey Hart, have been out and about with her, rather than keeping her tucked away from the world.

She was pictured with both of them strolling on the beach a few days ago - obviously SHE wasn't strolling, that really WOULD have made headlines!

"Pink's baby walks at just two weeks of age!"

Can you imagine...

And they've  also taken her to a farmers' market  - apparently this is a quintessential Los Angeles place to visit; really?! Who'd have known! - and out for a stroll on Saturday.

I really like Pink; I'm not a fan of all of her music, she can be a bit shouty and angry for me on some of them but she's down to earth and tells it the way she sees it.

I love how she's happy just to go out in whatever she feels comfortable in and in the latest shots taken on Saturday, both her and Carey were walking barefoot - I loved doing that as a kid and feeling the ground hot under my feet, no chance of doing that in this country at the moment!

Sunday was Father's Day and Pink tweeted a message to her new 'baby daddy' (that seems to be the celeb' phrase of the moment)

"Happy Father's Day to all the papas in the world, especially my brand new baby daddy."

And he replied with his own Tweet,

"My first Father's Day was perfect. Thank you Pink and Willow"

Pink tweets quite a lot so if you want to keep up with what's going on in her new world, follow her.  She wrote this recently, it made me smile as I remember being slapped in the face with how fast life changes as soon as you have your first baby.

"My life was once whisky, tears, and cigarettes … now it’s snot, tears, and the colour of poop. #bliss"

She added "I do miss the whisky though ;-)" to the end....don't we all (unless you don't like whisky of course!)

Celebaby: Willow Smith Whips Her Hair

by Sarah Macdonald in Celebaby on 14 December, 2010 at 10:00 am

Celebaby: Willow Smith Whips Her HairThe other day I heard a song on the radio - 'Whip your hair' by Willow.

WHO?!

I had no idea but I actually thought it was a new song from Rhianna, and I have to say I rather like it; it's catchy, edgy and has a load of 'tude!

A few days later I was listening to Scott Mills on Radio One, talking about the battle for the number one slot being between the Black Eyed Peas and this 'Willow'.

He went on to say that everyone should support Willow and download her song, so as not to smash the dreams of a 10-year-old girl. WHAT?

I'm more curious than most cats and I don't like not knowing things. So after a quick bit of not very high-brow journalistic investigation, I discovered that 'Willow' is none other than Willow Smith, seriously showbiz daughter of Will Smith.

Well, that explained everything!

For a 10-year-old, her resume is already rather impressive, appearing alongside her dad in the movie I Am Legend, giving an award-winning performance in the film An American Girl and providing one of the voices for a character in Madagascar 2.

All of that said, Willow does say it's a bit rubbish that other kids are better at maths than her, because she misses a lot of school and tutor classes due to being on tour all the time.

"I never really get to go to school because I am always on tour or with my father. There is a tutor most of the time, but usually I am working so I never get to do the lessons. The worst thing about maths is all the kids are ahead of me because they go to school."

But before you start feeling too sad for her, talking on the Ellen de Generes show recently, Willow says this is what she's wanted to do her whole life - bless, all 10 years of it.

"It's what I've wanted to do my whole life. I get my flow from Daddy, my singing ability from Mommy, the camera stuff from both. That's just what happens when you hang out with the Smiths."

Whip My Hair has been released under Jay-Z's (Mr Beyonce) record label Roc Nation, he said he had no idea of the identity of the singer when he heard the song for the first time (he was also responsible for signing up Rhianna, by the way).

"I heard the record first before I knew that it was recorded by a nine-year-old and I was like, man, that record's a smash!"

If she'd beaten the Black Eyed Peas to the number one slot on Sunday (she entered the charts at number two) it would have made Willow the youngest star to top the UK charts since Jimmy Osmond, in 1972, with Long Haired Lover from Liverpool!

I know which song I prefer!
