Need to visit relatives or friends in the run up to Christmas? Looking for a quick break before the holidays? Or just need to go shopping? I found that we'd be able to go stay over night at a Travelodge within walking distance of my step-daughter, for two adults and one child, for just over £25 for the night. The discount of £10 can be applied to one flexible rate room, for one night.

It was a mid-week price though, Saturdays aren't available until after December 18th. And in London, Tuesdays and Wednesdays aren't included.

Which kind of sucks as it means you have to go through the book procedure before you find out if you can get a room on the offer or not. And if like me you've not actually read the terms beforehand, you'll probably find you go through a few false starts first!

  The sale dates also include Christmas holidays! Although I image that those rooms will FLY out the doors (excuse the pun). This is a fab way of booking comfy accommodation for either you and yours, or for family members, if you’re driving down to visit over the holidays.

  It certainly beats having to sleep on a sofa. Well, it does in my world anyway.

The winter sale even has rooms in Spain for as little as 10 Euros, and in Ireland for 19 Euros. It is easy enough to search for a special offer – you only need to click on the relevant choice and the search engine does the rest for you.

These rates are really fantastic if you feel like booking a treat over the next few months. I am thinking that this would be a great anniversary treat if you have one coming up over the next few months.

However, if you can’t find a decent break that fits in with work and all other such issues then why not nab rooms for as little as £19 or £29, which are good rates in and of themselves anyway!

This is a lovely bubbly deal for those of you that have the brilliance to plan ahead. Travelodge will be starting their autumn price sale on 15 April where rooms will be discounted to as little as £9 a night.

The rooms are only valid from 28 August until 28 November with rooms in Spain and Ireland for as little as ten and 19 Euros respectively. There will be around 30 thousand rooms available for this special offer so you’re bound to get your chance if you’re ready on the 15^th.

There is not a lot of information as to which days the offer applies to and what terms and conditions there are, so I guess it’s going to be pot luck. I think that Monday to Thursday is a good bet so perhaps plan your holiday around that.
