Timmy Time: Timmy The Train DVD & Plush Toy £3.95 @ Zavvi

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 15 October, 2011 at 12:00 pm

Timmy Time: Timmy The Train DVD & Plush Toy £3.95 @ ZavviWe haven't had a good Timmy Time deal for a while, so its' rather nice to see him back. If you pop over to Zavvi you can pick up a Timmy Time: Timmy the Train DVD plus a plush Timmy toy too, all for £3.95 instead of £12.71.

I love Timmy, but then Shaun the Sheep (of Wallace and Grommit fame) was one of my favourite characters too.

Quite how the animators manage to convey such comedy expression on a faces with limited features is beyond me.

Timmy, if you didn't know, is Shaun the Sheep's nephew and he first graced the small screen three, or so, years ago - I remember watching the first one with my youngest, who's five now, and we  both loved it.

As the theme tune goes, "...he's a little lamb with a lot to learn."  This is very true and the Timmy Time episodes follow Timmy and his pre-school friends as they discover all sorts of things about sharing and doing the right thing at the right time.

It's not remotely patronising though and Timmy and pals are rather cheeky; a perfect blend of comedy and 'teaching' for youngsters, in my opinion.

There's no delivery to pay with Zavvi and the delivery time for this Timmy Time DVD is currently being stated as 'usually dispatched within 10 days', so a bit of planning ahead might be in order if you need this soonish.

Timmy Time DVDs - Series 1-5 £11.97 @ Amazon

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 9 May, 2011 at 9:00 am

Timmy Time DVDs - Series 1-5 £11.97 @ AmazonAmazon are selling this Timmy Time DVD box set of all the episodes in series 1 to 5 for £11.97 - all the other usual suspects are selling it for between £17 and £25, so it's a bit of a steal over at Amazon.

I was thinking the other day how Timmy Time deals have been a bit thin on the ground lately and then, TA DAAA, this Timmy Time DVD box set pops up; perhaps I should think about how I haven't won the lottery jackpot lately too and see if the same principle applies!

I loved watching Timmy Time with my youngest when he was small - well, smallER, he's still only five - he used to giggle away watching Timmy getting up to mischief with his friends.

If you don't know who Timmy is, let me explain...

Timmy  is the baby cousin of Shaun the Sheep, of Wallace and Grommit fame; he’s very funny, very cute and very cheeky.

There are 350 minutes of fabulous Timmy Time entertainment to be had watching this Timmy Time DVD box set; I wouldn't recommend watching them all back to back, I know I said Timmy Time was great to watch but even this might be a bit much.

All the usual Amazon delivery options apply.

Timmy Time Talking Timmy £6.99 @ Argos

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 19 March, 2011 at 11:00 am

Timmy Time Talking Timmy £6.99 @ ArgosArgos are selling this adoreable Timmy Time Talking Timmy for half price - £6.99 instead of £14.99

On the 8 March I told you about a Timmy Time Toy but he didn't do anything, and I quote...

...he doesn’t do anything; he doesn’t dance, he doesnt’ sing, he doesn’t require any batteries and he won’t cook the dinner for you.  But he WILL provide hours of cuddly pleasure.

Whilst that's ok for some, it's not for others.  So just for those others THIS Timmy Time toy talks, his name 'Timmy Time Talking Timmy' is a bit of a giveaway really.

He's a scrummy 20inches tall, is still super soft and cuddly and will BAAAA! when you squeeze his hand.

Timmy Time Talking Timmy is suitable for littlies aged two and over and he requires 3 LR44 batteries which are included (I'm glad about that as I have NO clue what LR44 batteries look like or how much they cost!).

Timmy Time Talking Timmy is currently out of stock for home delivery, although I don't think this is any huge drama - Argos' delivery price of £5.95 is well over the top in my opinion and you're generally better off reserving online and collecting most things in-store.

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 14 February, 2011 at 8:00 am

Timmy Time Series 1-5 £14.97 @ AmazonAmazon are selling this Series 1 to 5 of Timmy Time DVD box set for just £14.97 - it should be £29.99.

I love this show!

Timmy Time is one of the few Cbeebies series that has me watching alongside my child, without losing the will to live or wanting to poke my eyes out with forks.

Timmy is the baby cousin of Shaun the Sheep, of Wallace and Grommit fame; he's funny, cute , very cheeky and great entertainment -  350 minutes worth of Timmy Time entertainment with this Timmy Time Series 1 - 5 box set in fact.

Timmy is a little lamb with a lot to learn and he gets up to all sorts of mischief at nursery along with his cute little friends.

He’s just turned three in sheep years (baaa) and he’s learning how to get along with other animals, under the watchful eye of Harriet Heron and Osbourne Owl.

Timmy Time Sing And Dance Timmy £12.49 @ Argos

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 12 February, 2011 at 1:00 pm

Timmy Time Sing And Dance Timmy £12.49 @ Argos*singing* “Timmy…it’s TIMMY…he’s a little lamb with a lot to learn…BAAAAA!!!!” Argos are selling this Timmy Time Sing and Dance Timmy for half-price - £12.49 instead of £24.99.

I’m not sure who enjoys watching Timmy Time more in my house me, my youngest (four and a half) or the big kids (15 and 16) but if you haven’t watched Timmy Time on Cbeebies then you haven’t lived!

Timmy is ‘Shaun the Sheep’s cousin from Wallace and Grommit fame and has just started nursery.

My little boy loves that he does all the same things at school with his friends that Timmy does with his -  painting, playing games, drawing and creating new things, he also likes to make comparisons between Harriet Heron and Osbourne Owl and his own school teacher; Miss Cardy was ‘thrilled’ to discover she was Osbourne!

Timmy Time Sing and Dance Timmy loves to sing and dance (I know, you'd never have guessed that if I hadn't told you right?); just squeeze his hand and he'll start grooving.

He needs four AA batteries that aren't included and he isn't currently available for home delivery, which isn't so bad as I think Argos' delivery prices are nothing less than extortion.

Finding a store near you that has stock is much easier, I've found,  if you use www.icheckstock.co.uk instead of the Argos website, as it searches all stores at once, instead of just the first three in your area.
