Does your little one collect the Sylvanian toys? These are so cute, and not as expensive as other sets. I wish my son preferred something like this to Lego. Although the description says that it is filled with furniture, one reviewer on another site commented that it only contains a table, along with the single figure. However, from the picture it looks like it also comes with a bed, and a couple of kitchen items - an oven and a sink.

All the tools pack away neatly into the compact case for tidy away play. I can't quite tell from the case's picture, but it would look like there's a positional within the case for each piece.

If that's the case then this is a great idea - it means you can see at a glance if any of the tools are missing. Always handy when doing the BIG toy tidy away. I was sent the info for this ace Thomas and Friends classic collection box set by Ling who found it on sale at both The Hut and Zavvi for this great price of only £20.95. Usually the entire set costs around £30 so you’re saving a tidy £9.99 on this.

The Thomas and Friends DVD box set is the 65th anniversary edition and originally went on sale for around £15. The price has gone up by a lot here but this is still a good deal considering the individual DVDs for each season tend to cost around £3-£4 each. That is quite a saving off going out and collecting the entire series one by one. And less effort…

Ling mentions that the presentation box is pretty but a bit of a letdown in terms of the physical content. She reckons 50% of the box and individual DVDs of each season are the thinnest DVD coverlets you can get. However, there are still several hundred hours of Thomas content for a great price and free delivery.

I had never heard of Flitter Fairies till I came across the deal at HUKD and I am hooked. If they are even half as cool in reality as their promotional video is, then I want some! Whenever I watch my son and his friends play I am amazed at how long they'll spend to create something for that one second worth of satisfaction when it is utterly destroyed or a missile knocks something over. The JCB Case and Tool set comes up on HUKD from time to time, and it’s regularly confused with a real tool kit for an amazing price. It is not real though… It’s really just for kids.

The Pink Rocking Horse comes with wheels too, for extra stability, although I can’t see how that wouldn’t interfere with the actual rocking, but reviewers around the web seem to love it. Annoyingly I can’t seem to find an age range on it anywhere, but those same reviewers bought it for babies from 12 – 18 months.

Complaints were that it was tough to put together and that the sound effects weren’t great. (When you press the ears it neighs and so on.) The nose also moves to breathe while it is singing.
