Roald Dahl Collection Of 15 Books £15.99 @ Red House

Red House have a complete collection of 15 books from Roald Dahl on offer for £15.99. Despite their £88.85 RRP, Amazon have a very similar looking set for £34.99.

Considering I did a degree in English Literature and specialised in Creative Writing, it's pretty shocking to admit that I've never read a single Roald Dahl book. It's something I'm starting to think I really need to rectify, and soon.

This collection promises to delight, excite, shock and entertain, and who wouldn't want that. This complete collection includes favourites such as Matilda, The Twits, and The BFG, still featuring  Quentin Blake's timeless illustrations too.

The whole collection is made up of:

  • Fantastic Mr Fox - Roald Dahl
  • The Twits - Roald Dahl
  • Charlie and the Chocolate Factory - Roald Dahl
  • The Magic Finger - Roald Dahl
  • Esio Trot - Roald Dahl
  • Matilda - Roald Dahl
  • Danny the Champion of the World - Roald Dahl
  • Going Solo - Roald Dahl
  • The Witches - Roald Dahl
  • James and the Giant Peach - Roald Dahl
  • The BFG - Roald Dahl
  • The Giraffe and the Pelly and me - Roald Dahl
  • Boy Tales of Childhood - Roald Dahl
  • Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator - Roald Dahl
  • George's Marvellous Medicine - Roald Dahl
Postage is free over £15, so that won't cost you any extra either.
Happy reading!

Roald Dahl Book Collection £15.99 @ The Book People

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 9 March, 2013 at 9:00 am

Roald Dahl Book Collection £15.99 @ The Book PeopleI have lots of favourite story books and authors from my childhood and Road Dahl is one of them. This will be my sixth time of telling you about the Roald Dahl book collection (that doesn't sound so bad when I remember the previous five times have been spread out over three years!) and each time it flies out of stock pretty quickly.

I adore books; I loved them as a child and I love them as an adult.  Enid Blyton was the first author I remember but Roald Dahl HAS to be my most, and enduring, favourite of them all - so I'm seriously tempted to buy this book collection just ME.

I have very fond memories reading Fantastic Mr Fox - Foxy was just so cunning and clever and Badger, lovely and cuddly; Danny Champion of the World was utterly gripping and subsequently turned into a fantastic film.

The Twits were just a gross pair of, if memory serves me correctly, 'grizzly gorgons' and who can forget George's Marvellous Medicine and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The full list price for this 15-book Roald Dahl collection is £85.85, you can have them all for a mere £15.99, which is an absolute bargain...in my book (sorry!)

Try this free delivery code - FWELLB - I'm not sure whether it's a single-use or first-order code (which, if it is, and this will be your first order, or the first time you use it then hurrah for you!) so if you're a regular over at the Book People you may need to pay the £2.80 single item delivery fee.

Roald Dahl Book Collection £14.39 @ The Book People

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 22 June, 2012 at 10:00 am

Roald Dahl Book Collection £14.39 @ The Book PeopleThere are book deals that cycle round and round over at The Book People; they are SO popular that every time they crop up it would be remiss of me not to tell you about them - this 15-book Roald Dahl Book Collection is now just £14.39, rather than its full list price of £85.85.

This will be the fifth time I've written about this Roald Dahl book collection during my time at PlayPennies and I know there are some of you who have missed out each time - this is such a popular collection, it never stays in stock for very long - if you're one of them then this time could be your time!

I think everyone of my generation, and those of my teenagers and youngest's generations have read at least two or three Roald Dahl books and loved every single word of every single book; ask anyone to pick a favourite, or list the stories in their order of preference, and they'll find it an almost impossible task because all of Roald Dahl's stories are utterly magical.

WOW, I miss reading all these stories now the teenagers are all grown-up; hurrah for my youngest, then, who is currently discovering all these AMAZING stories - the latest one completed being Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

I've got a couple of codes for you to use:  JULY2012 will bring the price down from the published £15.99 to £14.39 and AFSNUPP will qualify you for free delivery of your Roald Dahl book collection.

Roald Dahl Book Collection £15.99 @ The Book People

by Sarah Macdonald in Deals on 1 October, 2011 at 9:00 am

Roald Dahl Book Collection £15.99 @ The Book PeopleI've written about this Roald Dahl Book Collection before, but it's SO good I'm going to rave about it again - especially as The Book People are selling it for £15.99 instead of the £85.85 list price.

For any young book worm this Roald Dahl book set is an absolute must as far as I'm concerned.

It doesn't matter whether or not their reading skills are up for going solo with them, because the stories that Roald Dahl penned make for fabulous bedtime stories read out loud by someone else.

I have very fond memories of my mum reading Fantastic Mr Fox and James and the Giant Peach to me when I was little.

I remember being absolutely delighted when I unwrapped my own copy of the BFG, one Christmas morning, and promptly spent most of the day reading it.

Roald Dahl weaved magic the moment he put pen to paper and every child should, and probably will at least in this country, read plenty of his books before they grow up.

This Roald Dahl book collection contains all the favourites: Fantastic Mr Fox, The BFG, James and the Giant Peach, The Witches, George's Marvellous Medicine, Danny Champion of the World, to mention just a few.

If, by some chance, you're not familiar with Roald Dahl and his stories and are wondering whether the child you're thinking about buying for would like them, take my word for it - they will.

Free delivery comes into play when your order is over £25, otherwise a £1.95 single item delivery charge will apply.
