Stiga Twister UFO Sledge £7.99 @ Newitts

OOoh, this looks FUN, especially for those of you lucky enough to get snow so far this year. I am still staring mournfully at the sky with only rain falling in my eye. Anyway, the Stiga UFO Twister Sledge is only £6 at Newitts with a £1.99 delivery charge taking it up to £7.99 in total.

The Stiga Twister UFO Sledge is a flying saucer that’s also a sled that’s also a flying saucer that’s… Ok, you get the picture. The sledge is designed as a large UFO shape with handles on either side for quick and easy grippage while sliding down a snow covered slope.

The Twister is also fine for both adults and kids so everyone can take a turn zipping down the hill at high speed while twisting about and roaring with laughter. Man, I am jealous of people who have snow.

You can get the Stiga Twister UFO Sledge in a variety of different colours including grey, black, red and blue and it is 65cm in diameter. Wheeee!

Sledges For All Budgets From £1 @ Newitts

Sledges For All Budgets From £1 @ Newitts

“They” have been promising snow since October, and I’ve been so tempted to buy a sledge “just in case” they were right. Newitts have a range of Sledges available with prices starting at £1.

I’ve never sledged on snow before, only on sand dunes, but I can’t imagine it being too different – except in the one you’re boiling and the other freezing.  I’ve also missed most of the great snows in the UK by working in London when there have been masses of snow in other places, but I’m hoping that this year we’ll get some proper snow again and I can finally build a snow man.

Newits have sledges in the shape of a ring from £1, which should be okay for older children or adults (if they work) but wouldn’t be great for a toddler. They have Stiga Stinger Sledges from £7.99, which look like an ideal pull your child up a hill sledge.

If you’re serious about getting cold, they have a host of different options to suit your pocket, right up to £125 for the Stiga Snowracer SX Pro, which is  equipped with handlebar and the handles in non slip material.

Well, have a blast!

Cheap Sledge £3.85 @ Newitts

Cheap Sledge £3.85 @ NewittsIf you have a family of snow lovers and are on the prowl for a cheap sledge or few then I've found some for you!

You'll love the price starting at £3.85 all in, including delivery - and kids will love the name, the Pocket Rocket Bum Sledge.

They measure 450 x 350 x 5mm, have a polished underside to make them super slippery and weigh a tiny 180g.

It's a small, simple cheap sledge and, I imagine, works just as well as any bigger more expensive sledge or your Aunty Mable's best tea tray!

If you think I've got stark raving mad posting sledging deals, then you obviously haven't seen the weather forecast for the next 14 days - with temperatures not feeling above anything minus from Thursday, snow from Friday and then the horror of 'feels like -10c' for lots of next week!

THIS is why I'm going away to the more civilised side of the equator where December and January mean NO snow, temperatures averaging a minumum of 30C and long lazy days spent by the side of the pool.

I'll be thinking of you all with cold wet bums on your cheap sledge Pocket Rocket Bum sledge deal you got through PlayPennies!
