Mums Freebie: Free Bottle of Nails Inc Nail Polish @ InStyle Magazine

by Tamsin Oxford in Freebies on 8 May, 2013 at 10:00 am

Mums Freebie: Free Bottle of Nails Inc Nail Polish @ InStyle Magazine

Nails Inc nailpolish has to be my absolute favourite. You get amazing styles and great quality nail polish that lasts for ages. The only problem with it, of course, is the price. Buying this nail polish is all about giving yourself a treat.

So, how about buying a copy of InStyle magazine today and then getting yourself a bottle of Nails Inc nail polish for free? Yes, you do have to pay for the magazine, but that is hardly as much as the nail polish and you can choose between three colours.

Indeed, there are Peach, Totes Pink and It’s Red, Babez as the three colours you can choose fromj and each has been created exclusively for the magazine. The magazine only costs £3.90 and the nail polish is worth £11. Now that IS a bargain freebie.

Mums Freebie: Free Café Direct Full Roast Coffee Sample

Mums Freebie: Free Café Direct Full Roast Coffee Sample

How would you like to try a free sample of the tasty Café Direct range of coffee? Yeah? Me too. I love their coffee, it tastes far better than the fair-trade Co-op coffee we buy from time to time and it still supports the growers and ensures things are done ethically. What a fabulous free treat.

When you get to the landing page you will see a movie and to the right of the movie is a button you can select to get your free sample. Put your details into their form and you should get your sample in a couple of weeks.

You don’t need to put a lot of personal information into this form, which is a rather nice change from some of the other freebies I’ve signed up for in the past, and you can opt in to receiving their newsletter. It’s a pretty good newsletter though, good read with your free coffee. Ha!

It’s important for mums to get a seat, especially on busy trains, and it can be quite hard to ask someone to give up their seat for you. So C2C are offering an official C2C Baby on Board badge to all expectant mums who are travelling on route with C2C to wear in order to let other customers know that you may need a seat.

You do need to be travelling with C2C in order to get your free badge and then you need to fill in the form that is on the site and they will send you the badge in the post. What a sweet idea!

Mums Freebie: Free Dirty Works Supreme Body Butter

Mums Freebie: Free Dirty Works Supreme Body Butter

I love weird body butter creams and lotions and potions. I especially enjoy the ones that you don’t expect to be amazing, the ones that look a bit odd and turn out to be the best thing in the world ever. I have a feeling that this body butter might fit this bill for some reason and I’m delighted that I get to try it out for free. Maybe it’s the name?

I adore the Soap and Glory range of products that look remarkably similar to this range of products from Dirty Works. I bought a Soap and Glory body scrub that smells, quite frankly, astonishing. It is my best treat ever.

Dirty Works have joined with Sainsburys Magazine to offer their new fans a mini Supreme Cream Body Butter to try out. To claim your free sample, simply Like their page and then email your name, UK address, and post code to dirtyworks@brandarchitekts.com. Done.

Mums Freebie: Free Garnier Intensive 7-Day Kit

This is a rather nice freebie for all of you out there who like something pamperific for free. You can get yourself a free 7-day kit from Garnier as long as you get in there as fast as possible and make sure you are one of the first 10,000 people.

To claim your free Garnier Body Intensive 7-day sample kit you need to fill in your name, address, date of birth, email details and country of origin. They also ask you to give them some information about yourself like what brands you use now and whether or not you’d like to get more free samples in the future.

The 7-Day challenge is about how amazing your skin will look at the end of a week of using this body lotion. I am a fan of Garnier myself, but I can’t get this freebie as it will probably arrive after I’ve moved house. Pity, as it looks like a good freebie!

Mums Freebie: Free Mills & Boon eBooks @ WH Smith

Mums Freebie: Free Mills & Boon eBooks @ WH Smith

Summer seems to be the time of the Mills & Boon freebie apparently as this is the second one I’ve found in less than a month. This time you don’t end up with any strange and unexpected agreements with Mills & Boon but instead you get several free eBooks with no catch at all from WH Smith.

The five Mills & Boon eBooks on offer are downloadable as eBook content and they are available in the Adobe DRM format so they should be readable on almost every single device you own including the: desktop, eReaders, Smartphones and Tablets.

The titles you get are Mias Scandal, Bought: Destitute Yet Defiant, Their Newborn Gift, Emergency: Wife Lost and Found, and Wedding at King’s Convenience. They seem to run the gamut of the different Mills & Boon genres so if you are a fan of a specific type, then one should be here for you.

Mums Freebie: Free Sample Of SilDerm Stretch Mark Cream

I think that with all the baby freebies we’ve had going on here lately, it’s time that mum gets a look in, don’t you? I discovered this ace freebie while I was ambling about on the net this fine day and I figured many a mum would be delighted to give this free stretch mark cream a try.

SilDerm is a new concept in the beauty and aesthetics market that apparently used to be a secret of the stars but is now available to everyone. The SilDerm range has been proven to be effective under the most stringent clinical studies, done by experts in their fields.

SilDerm for the Prevention of Stretch Marks Oil has ingredients that have been proven to significantly reduce the formation of stretch marks. It contains several unique, safe and effective ingredients such as Gotu Kola and Tocopherol.

Mums Freebie: Free Knickers @ Figleaves.com

by Tamsin Oxford in Freebies on 14 June, 2012 at 6:00 pm

Mums Freebie: Free Knickers @ Figleaves.com

Imagine my surprise when I received a free pair of knickers in the post along with a box of Always Dailies and a letter. I don’t often get posted underwear so it did make me pause. The offer also made me go, “Oooh.” You see, if you buy a box of Always Dailies (and the other promotional packs outlined below), you can get a pair of gorgeous knickers for free.

Always Dailies has teamed up with Figleaves.com to offer women both a free pair of knickers AND 20% off from the online store. The first 2,000 customers will get the purple panties with their first purchase on the site.

To take advantage of this offer you buy a pack of Always Dailies, Simply Fits, Always Silk, Always Freshness or Always Freshelle (you can tell it is the right pack as it has the “Exclusive knickers and 20% off” sticker on it). You then log on to Figleaves.com and enter the code on the reverse of the sticker. Your purchase will then get 20% taken off and, if you are among the first 2000, you will get free knickers.

They are gorgeous by the way!

You will find these promotional packs of Always at participating stockists such as Tesco, Sainsburys and so forth. I would advise doing so instore so you definitely get one with the sticker and code on it as you can't always tell online.

To get your freebie you will need to fill in a short form as well, obviously for both marketing and posting reasons, and it won’t take you very long at all. Soon you will have a tasty tub of aloe vera to enjoy.

Mums Freebie: Two Free Mills & Boon Novels

by Tamsin Oxford in Freebies on 6 May, 2012 at 6:00 pm

Mums Freebie: Two Free Mills & Boon Novels

I apologise to all the PlayPennies Dads here, this is probably not a freebie for you. And to those mums who think Mills & Boon and other such romantic novels are a waste of time, I apologise to you too. I, however, have a soft spot for these books as I discovered them when I was a teen and thought they were terribly exciting. Now you can get two free books right now and try them out. Go on, you know you want to…

So, what you have here is Mills & Boon attempting to ensnare the unwary by sending them two free historical romance novels and hoping to hook them to the brand. Clever… You are under no obligation to buy anything if you accept your two free historical novels and there is no catch and no delivery charges.

Just bung them into your bag, send your order and wait for these two free books to appear in your mailbox. Good timing for lazy summer reading…

Mums Freebie: Free Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation

This is another great freebie for this fabulous Friday – a seven day supply of Lancome Teint Miracle Foundation. To claim your freebie you need to click on the link, print out the voucher and take yourself to your nearest Lancome counter to collect it.

This foundation claims to be super light and sheer but strong enough to give you complete cover.  It is a water based foundation, with almost 40% of the product made up of water, and includes all sorts of fancy extras that apparently reflect light and other such useful things.

It has had some really positive reviews from mummy bloggers who love to cosmetic, and from some of the pros. It looks really good on, and does offer a lovely flawless finish without caking. I have seen some great shots of it on women’s skin and been quite impressed.

So, if you fancy a free sample of this so-called miracle foundation then hop on over to their Facebook page and get your voucher. Then come here and tell us what you think!

If you nab the freebie please DO let me know so we can compare notes.

Mums Freebie: Two Free Pregnancy Tests @ DuoFertility

by Tamsin Oxford in Freebies on 24 August, 2010 at 12:00 pm

Mums Freebie: Two Free Pregnancy Tests @ DuoFertility

I think that, unless it wasn’t planned, getting a pregnancy test is one of the most exciting things ever. You’re about to find out whether you’re going to have that much wanted baby and everything is a bit giddy and nerve-wracking. And expensive! I can’t believe how costly some pregnancy tests are.

DuoFertility are sending out two free pregnancy tests to 100 people every day as a part of their campaign to raise awareness about fertility issues in the UK. While you may not be guaranteed a test (maybe fill in the form first thing in the morning), it’s worth a shot!

At least they will be free. I really don’t understand the cost of pregnancy tests now. I mean, do we really need a digital display that tells you exactly what day you fell pregnant and all that stuff, and that costs the same as a meal for two at a decent restaurant?

If you happen to be trying for a baby and one of these tests tells you, “Yes!” then do let us know so we can shower you in congratulations.
