The 50% off multipack Christmas cards offer appears to be only for this week, although I can’t find any confirmation either way. There are a lot of different styles of Christmas card on offer here as well so most types and tastes are accounted for.

With the 50% tag, many of these packs that usually cost around £4 are down to £2, and the ones that cost £2.50 are down to, well, half that and very little indeed. The luxury packs are really the best buys as they cost only £2.50 instead of £5.

I really like these Christmas cards and, seeing as my current batch is already used up, I’m definitely going to be nabbing some of these today.

The three pack of girls shirts at M&S are also the lovely non-iron variety. Now I happen to own some of these and while they don’t pop out of the washing machine looking as if they’ve been starched by a pro, they are a lot less creased and troublesome than the usual shirt. A huge plus for me as I just cannot iron.

It can be easy to do a big shop at Marks & Spencer. I like the quality and affordability of their clothes. In my shopping bag to test this code I had a geometric top (in the 20% off sale), a pair of shapers knickers (well you have to use some help once you've had a pregnancy or two), a child's coat (also on offer - 20% off), a child's thermal top and bottom set, and finally a little silver plated handbag keyring.

The whole lot came to £82.50, with £3.50 for postage. The two 20% offers took another £12.65 off that, and finally this code took it down by £10 to £63.35 including delivery. I think a saving of £22.65 overall is pretty good myself.

I tested the coat out on this gorgeous little girl's Autograph Heart Patchwork duffle coat with wool. This had been reduced in the 20% off coats sale from £32 to £25.60. The sale page is pretty simple to navigate. You can choose from Women’s, Men’s, Lingerie and Nightwear and Kids. Or you can take advantage of their wine sale, but that’s a different post entirely!

In the kids section you can search for sale items based on gender, age and use – Older girls, Babywear. Shoes & Accessories and so on. The prices look fairly decent if I am honest, with jeans and dresses down to as little as £3 in some cases in the girl section, and tees and sweats down to £4 in the boy section.

Babywear is limited but cheap with really cute sleepsuits and tees going for low prices like £1 each. I was enchanted by the crochet cardigan for only £5.

I first tried it out with a mix of sale and full price school items. But it didn't work. I was told that my order did not meet the promotion criteria. Just in case it was the schoolwear, I also tried it with a mix of sale and full price kidswear, but got the same result.

This two part set consists of a quilt that’s 120x100cm in size and a bumper that’s 146x40cm in size. It has the My Toy Shelf motif from M&S which is really cute little bunnies and bears and ducks sitting on, well, a shelf. The colours are very neutral with brown and cream and light purple and green.

The set is machine washable and tumble drier safe and is made from 100% cotton. It looks utterly adorable and would make a stunning present for someone expecting a baby, or as that final touch to round off your nursery.

Well, I've tried flying these sorts of remote controlled devices before, and they are pretty damn tricky. School skirts are often a bit rubbish and either fall to pieces or fall off. This particular design from M&S comes with a patent belt and an adjustable waist for only £4 including delivery. I am very impressed with this price as I have paid for more for far less.

M&S are clearly having something of a crazy sale at the moment because they also have Peppa Pig welly boots, Star Wars clothing and paraphernalia, and many other great kids items included in the sale. I’ve highlighted the girls school skirt because I love the fact that it comes with a belt for easy use and long life.
